Our delivery person (pictured above) was making a delivery to a funeral home and could not help but notice a box (also pictured above with him) in the trash. He made an inquiry to a staff member as to why it was there. The staff member replied that he occasionally receives flowers in a box like this from FedEx or UPS. Upon examination of the box, it was discovered that it came from an internet .com site.
Since that time, we have spoken to several funeral directors and staff members at various funeral homes. These boxes with their contents are being presented to the family during the visitation hours and sometimes not until after the service. Unbelievably, on occasion, a staff member might even attempt to arrange the flowers and place them for viewing at the visitation.
